Indication Mitotane is used for the treatment of symptoms of advanced non operable, metastatic or recurrent malignant tumours of the adrenal glands Side Effects Dizziness, drowsiness, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, or weakness may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Mechanism Of Action Mitotane is used to treat cancer of the adrenal glands. It works by slowing the growth of or killing adrenal gland cells and also decreases the amount of hormones made by the adrenal gland.
