Mechanisam of action
Sildenafil works by widening the blood vessels and facilitating the blood flow to corpus cavernosum (bulk of penis formed by multitudes of tissues). Therefore, Sildenafil is also termed as a vasodilator that mainly belongs to a PDE-5 family. Its mechanism of action is to block the deteriorating effect of cGMP PDE-5 resulting in a hard and erected penis suitable for sexual activity.

On the other hand, Dapoxetine is a SSRI and used chiefly as a therapeutic agent against premature ejaculation (early secretion of penile semen) in fully developed men. This substance is widely approved by drug authorities to be used for sufficient erection and pleasing sexual intercourse.
